long time comin
Well, it's been a long time since my last journal entry. But I've been keeping up reading everyone elses journals. Things have been crazy around here lately. Taylor is now 8 months old, I can't believe it!!!! Time flies, sighs. She's such a handful. Lol. She's so amazing. She cruises like crazy, and always wants to be where you are. I love watching her grow and grow. It's the best thing in the world. I recenlty got a new job, which is full time, so my time with her is getting shorter, which I despise more than anything. But I have to do what I have to do. It's at a local hospital, and the insurance is great there. I love it. It's something new. And a very big challenge. I hope everyone is doing well.

Hectic
So how was everyones weekend? Good I hope. 4th of July weekend wasn't all that great this time around. In fact it was horrible. But other then that things have been okay. Mike and I are trying to work through some of our "problems" right now. So I hope that all this work won't be in vain. Things have been really tough lately and it's taking a serious toll on me mentally & physically. Sometimes I fell like what I say doesn't matter to him, and he's the one person that it should matter to. But no relationship is perfect and ours has it's ups and downs just live everyone else. Only time will tell.
So Taylor.....my my my. She's raisin' some hell around here! She no longer stays on her back. She has never been much of a lay down and take it kinda baby. She's all over the place now. And she will be 4 months old this Saturday. She only likes to be in a sitting position so we have to put her in her Bumbo Seat or prop her up on the bed, couch or our laps. She quite and intense baby. I'm not so sure if it's normal for a baby at her young age to be so intense about things. I know when they can't reach things they get angry and so on, but she's got a temper on her like I've never seen. I hope that this isn't a preview of a problem we could have with her in the future, but if it is then so be it. You live and learn and can't go through life without struggling at some point. I would do anything and everything to make sure she has the things she needs and the care that she needs.
So today was pretty interesting. I had to go get her formula with our WIC checks. We give her Similac Alimentum, which is $26.99 for a 16 oz can. And pretty much every single groccery store we went to had it locked up behind customer service, which I completely understand. But anyway, 5 out of 6 stores either had 3, 1 or 0 cans. And each check allows us 4 cans. So finally we found a store that had enough and I ended up getting the 8 cans were allowed with 2 checks. Sighs. I was at my wits end by the end of it all. And I hate shopping with a serious passion. Lol.

It's so nice to belong to a community, weather online or off that allows you to share parenting tips with other moms. I love it. Getting to converse with people who actually know first hand what your going through.
So it was another extremely hot & humid day out today. But what day hasn't been like that here? This summer has been so miserable for the most part. I love warm weather, I just can't do humid.
So what's going on in everyone's lives out there? How are all you momma's doin?

Taylor's Bumbo Seat
So since she will be 4 months old next week, Taylor's poppy went out and bought her her first Bumbo Seat. And she loves it! She sits up in it pretty well, and of course she looks so cute.
So here are some pictures of her in it.
We just can't imagine that she's getting so big so fast. I know I keep saying it, but time really does fly when your watching your baby grow!
